Who arrives for the first time in Bossico will be stunned by a place known as “Settecolli” – Seven Hills – at 1,000 m.a.s.l. In the second half of 1800 some imposing villas were built there by affluent people of the middle class and nobles belonging to the liberal and anti-clericalism movements in favor of Rome, the Italian capital. For this reason, these villas were named after the famous Seven Hills of Rome and the events of the Risorgimento.

Villa Pincio is located on the “Mount of Lovere” and it is on the path towards Ceratello. It was built in the second half of XIX century by Bazzini Family of Lovere. The Villa takes its name from the homonymous hill of Rome.
